Notice on the Selection and Commendation of the Ninth National Moral Model

Since 2007, the Central Propaganda Department, the Central Civilization Office, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the All-China Women's Federation, and the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission have held a national moral model selection and commendation event every two years. This initiative vigorously cultivates and practices the core socialist values, fully demonstrates the exemplary role of moral models, promotes traditional Chinese virtues, nurtures new trends and appearances of the times, continuously improves people's ideological awareness, moral standards, and civilized qualities, and strives to be practitioners of noble morality, maintainers of civilized customs, and creators of a better life. This aims to form a strong social atmosphere that values virtue and goodness, aspires to emulate the virtuous, and promotes morality throughout the world. With the approval of central leaders, we are now launching the ninth national moral model selection and commendation event. The relevant matters are notified as follows.
